[Suggestion]Autofill Caret Behavior

In current version, if search bar autofill is enabled, the caret is placed at the end of the filled text after typing.

For exmaple typing "Every":

Now pressing Shift + Left will select "filled text" MINUS "last letter in filled text":

However, a more intuitive behavior would be "filled text" PLUS "last typed letter" (like msedge does):

Which means the caret should be placed at the beginning of the autocompleted text. I checked the advanced settings and didnt found an option. It would be useful if you can add this. Thanks.

I see what Shift+Left does, but why does one want to do a Shift+Left?
As in I'm not understanding a use case for selecting to the left rather then removing from the right (which I'm not sure I'm understanding that use case either )?

If anything, I'd think ? that maybe caret should be 1 <sp> past the end of the autofill (in anticipation of appending something to that search?

Sometimes when I typed "Ever", but want to edit the last "r" to "n" , I would use shift+left then type "n", instead of hitting the backspace for two times.
And like I said, this is more intuitive

I have put on my TODO list: select right to left (so caret is on the left) when auto filling.
