I was following a support thread for a problem where the scanning appeared to be stuck, and it advised to type the command below and restart Everything
In Everything, type in the following search and press ENTER:
/debug=1
I did that and now I am stuck in the console which shows the below
Everything
Version 1.4.1.1024 (x64)
Windows NT 6.2
Processors 20
IsAdmin 0
AppData 1
Service 1
cmdline "C:\Program Files\Everything\Everything.exe"
load localization
lng file opened!
header size 1079
version 1
got header
system default lid 0809
count 45
ole initialize: 00000000

when I close that and try to open everything search again, I always end up in the Everything console. There is nowhere where I can type the exit
In Everything, type in the following search and press ENTER:
/debug=0
Stuck in Console
Re: Stuck in Console
I managed to get it working again - had to kill the process in the task manager
Re: Stuck in Console
Is an Everything search window shown?
-If so, type in the /debug=0 as a search in the main search window and press ENTER.
-If so, type in the /debug=0 as a search in the main search window and press ENTER.
Re: Stuck in Console
Yes the only issue was that for a while, I could only see debug window, however after killing the process in the task manager, the search window became visible again and I was able to enter the /debug=0
