File names with periods

Hi, my first post, please be kind. I'm using Everything 1.4.1.1009 (x64)

I have tons of files with periods in place of spaces:

This.is.an.article.docx

I used to be able to enter a search like "this article" and my document would be found. This no longer seems to be working; I need to enter terms with periods, for example

"this.is"

Has something changed?

With actual quotes or without?

In any case, most likely a setting got flipped (set or unset) in, (Menu-item) Search.

-Please make sure no search options are checked under the Search menu (eg: uncheck match case, uncheck match whole words, uncheck regex)

Okay, I must have altered some setting, because I uninstalled / reinstalled and now it's working fine. Thanks for the recommendations ✓
