How to make a filter/bookmark that searches or brings to top Start Menu items

Post by fruitsponge »

As per title! When searching, I want a filter that only goes through start menu shortcuts folder OR always lists .lnk files from the Start Menu folder on top of an otherwise regular search. Any idea how this can be done?
I am just beginning to understand how to use this tool. Would also appreciate any good tutorials.

Search for:

c:\ \appdata\roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start *.lnk

Select all files (Ctrl + A)
Right click the selected files and click Set Run Count...
Set the Run count to:
1000

Make sure you results are sorted by run count:
From the View menu, under the Sort by submenu, click Run Count.
