I have this issue where Everything uses too much CPU usage even when I'm not using it. If I open the software the first time and don't use it then close it to put it in the tray, it's fine and remains at 0% CPU usage. Once I start using it and I'm done with it, I then close it, it will start using 10-20% CPU usage constantly even if it's not being used.
Does anyone know how to fix that problem? Thanks!
The version is 1.5a, but it does the same on the 1.4 version.
Specs :
7700x 5.3ghz
RTX 4080
16GB DDR5 4800mhz
2TB ssd NVME

Everything shouldn't have any noticeable CPU usage.
Check your index journal.
Something might be spamming your file system with changes.
In Everything 1.5, from the Index menu, click Index Journal.
Examine changes to your file system.
Could be a bad icon shell extension or thumbnail handler?

Please try disabling the preview pane (View -> Preview)
