I'm probably not alone in noticing that Ctrl-C "Copy" then Ctrl-V "Paste" on windows at times doesn't do so but pastes the prior copy.
The consequences for this with Everything is that you may go to paste a small bit of text in the Search box and find it pastes a huge amount of something else. Everything then hangs for a long while, depending what it is.
It may be Everything could detect this happening and prompt for confirmation accordingly. Just a prompt based on size could be helpful. It may be if confirmed as ok it needn't prompt again if another one is pasted in within a given timeframe from the last. Maybe there may be some use for something like large: at the opening of the text as a way of avoiding this prompt.
