Servers with Network Index (Remote Everything indexes)

Hello everyone

V1.5.0.1391a is used.
It is installed on a server and provides the index.

Now I noticed that, despite activated journaling, there is no update in the index when there are changes to the shares on the server.
The server is also displayed as offline on the client in the Settings/Database/Network index/Remote Everything indexes dialog.
Only when someone is logged on to the server does the update (journal) work and the server is no longer displayed as offline.

The Everything service is active on the server and runs in the system context.
The GUI and the indexer do not run in admin mode.


Is that intentional?

You need the Everything Client Service instead of the Everything Serice.
