How to disable launching?

Hello,

Everytime I press the Start Button, Everything automatically launches.

It used to be that I had to actually hit the shortcut in the Start menu to do that.

How do I disable it from doing that? From tying it to the Start Button?

Everything shouldn't be showing when you click the Start button.

Are you using any third party tools to manipulate the Start button or Windows Search?

What version of Everything are you using?

I'm using Open Shell 4.4.194 on Windows 10 Pro

Everything 1.4.1.1026 (x64)

Some setting has changed that I didn't initiate.

Some ideas.

Remove Everything from the Start menu:
Delete any Everything shortcuts in the start menu
-or-
Uncheck Everything -> Tools -> Options -> General -> Start menu shortcuts.



Does Everything show if you exit Everything (File -> Exit) and then click the Start button?
-If so, please try Microsoft's Process Explorer and see who is calling Everything.

Well I went ahead and uninstalled it (using Revo) so I may reinstall it again at a future date. We'll see...
