Half a bug

Hi

Today, I tried to sort all my jpg files by dimensions. My photo library is extensive, so it was taking a lot of time. Within two or three minutes, Everything insisted in either waiting or stopping my request... constantly. I click on "wait" time and again, but it insists in asking the same question time and again. I think this is something that should be reworked.

PS: In between prompts, Everything did nothing. No progress on the search.

P.P.S.: As you can see in the screenshot, the window was frozen, but it happened all the time. Frozen or not, it asked constantly if it should abort the search...

I guess you don't have set any properties indexing.

Yep, you're right - I had no properties indexed. Is this the way to go?

Everything will show this dialog on a "blocking" action, such as clicking in the result list.

Please avoid clicking in the result list until the search completes.

Progress is shown in the status bar.



Indexing properties will help prevent this dialog at the cost of higher RAM usage.
