I try to edit a file name when the volume is not available (e.g. HDD not connected to the laptop at the moment), then I get Error 000000002.
Instead of a cryptic code, it should simply tell me "Connect the volume and try again!"

It's the Windows shell that throws this error message, not Everything.
I'll try to capture this error and show a nice "Path not found" error message.
Thank you for the suggestion.

Great!
Instead of the path not found, the message I suggested sounds more helpful.

Everything 1.5.0.1356a will now show a nice (human readable) error message when renaming and the path or file is not found.
