Can it be that folders can not be renamed while properties (of files contained) are being indexed?

Can it be that folders can not be renamed (e.g. in a file manager) while properties (of files contained) are being indexed?

Correct, Everything will need to open files to read properties.

Opening a file will prevent the parent folder from being renamed.
