instead of focus (returning) to the result list (assuming that is where you had been before)
it may be on the Search bar, & then at the 2nd character position (most times), at that

I am seeing the same issue.

Everything 1.5.0.1340a fixes an issue with the search caret being restored to an incorrect location.
