it seems like when pressing Ctrl and clicking a column header, the sorting doesn't sort the selection by date and time of those highlighted items but rather the whole entry list itself. See example screenshot. This is by ctrl clicking the date created column the 1st try as you can see that the date created Jun 17, 2022 20:03:08 is at the top.
Ctrl+click the date created again results in the Nov 6, 2022 04:46:06 entry to be listed at the top followed by Nov 5...
I thought that the ctrl+click on a column header will sort the highlighted entries by the date in ascending or descending order, not the whole list. Why is this so? Am I doing something wrong? Thanks for any help and suggestions.

Re: Ctrl+click column header sorting different
There is no such thing as selection sorting. At least this is the first I've heard any mention of the concept.
Shift+Click will do Secondary Sort for any column header clicked.

Re: Ctrl+click column header sorting different
isn't shift click the same concept as clicking on the column header when selecting multiple files?

Re: Ctrl+click column header sorting different
All results are sorted when clicking a column header.
I will consider an option to sort the selection only with Ctrl.
Thank you for the suggestion.
