Run Everything As A Scheduled Task
The Everything startup process requires permission, which interrupts boot - a problem in unattended opertation. I would like instead to start it as a Scheduled Task, which allows for elevated permissions. This is easily enough done, but it's not clear to me how to then stop the default launch. I've looked in the Startup menu and Run registry entry - not there. Where should I be looking instead? Thanks - Don

Re: Run Everything As A Scheduled Task
Everything | Tools | Options -> General => Start Everything on system startup (uncheck) ?

Big forehead slap!
Way too obvious - I searched the registry and found the startup entry in hkey_local_machine\software\wow6432node\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run, but didn't know if deleting it there would be persistent.
Thanks for the quick reply and patient answer. The temptation to rub it in must have been terrible!
