Can't paste files to selected location in context menu

I can't Cut or Copy files (in the red box above) and then Paste them to the selected file location down blow.

The Paste menu is grayed out as the red arrow points out.

That's the name of the folder, as you can see in the pictue.

I'm using the Everything Service.

Oh. I was associating the item below 7-Zip, & the arrow, & the paste.

Man, it took me some time to figure out what is going on...

So you...

select some files
(perform a) Cut (or Copy) [action]
- at that point, when you open the right-click context menu
- Everything adds a context-menu entry with the basename of the particular directory path you right-clicked at

And at that point, the Paste option is grayed out.

(I'm going to assume that that is known, & that functionality is not complete, yet?)

I was able to Paste in earlier version, until 1284a.

In that case, looks to be a bug in 1.5.0.1284a.

It's a known bug in 1284a.

It will be fixed in the next alpha update.

For now, please bind a keyboard shortcut to Result List | Parent | Paste:

• In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the Keyboard tab on the left.
• To the right of show commands containing, type in the following:
  parent paste
• Select Result List | Parent | Paste.
• Click add....
• Press a new keyboard shortcut and click OK.
• Click OK.

Everything 1.5.0.1285a fixes an issue with context menu Parent -> Paste being grayed out.

Everything 1.5.0.1285a also adds a Parents context menu item when selecting multiple items.
