only list file-NAMES containing the characters

Hi everybody ),

Somehow I "managed" to activate searching for letter-sequences in the path

example I'm searching for "12SH30" *.odt

and everything lists entries like

F:\myData\BSK\Klassen\2015-2016\D_12SH30\B-01-SW-03-KW-39-Mo-02-Regelgröße-bestimmen.odt

What I want to achieve is that only entries where the letter-sequence "12SH30" is a part of the file-NAME
but no entries where "12SH30" is a part of the file-PATH

are listed.

How do I have to adjust the sarch-options or the search-expression itself to achieve that?

Please uncheck Match Path from the Search menu.

Note: search altering options are shown in the status bar on the right.


If you would like to temporarily set path matching, use the path: search modifier:
path:12SH30

or, to temporarily disable path matching, use the nopath: search modifier:
nopath:12SH30
