NTFS volumes with no drive letters

Post by mfarmwald » Mon Apr 19, 2010 9:40 pm

I just tried Everything and really like it, but there's a problem with NTFS volumes with out drive letters.

I use single "master" NTFS volume ("R" in my case) and then have a whole bunch of NTFS volumes mounted in empty directories on R.

Everything doesn't seem to see these NTFS volumes - it just indexes R, and not the subdirectories/volumes.

Thanks for the help.

"Everything" requires a volume to have a drive letter assigned.

Support for volumes mounted in NTFS folders has been implemented for the next release of "Everything".

You might like to test this now with the latest alpha release.
