Exit from Everything (close program)
In Everything.ini find parameter search_edit_font_size and set it to desired value.
Start Everything again.
I think you need something like WindowBlinds for that. You can do per-application skinning. (just mentioning it; no personal experience ..)pirabud wrote: Thu Feb 14, 2019 6:49 am Is there any way to make the theme also apply to the rest of the window? For example the menu bar and so?
To me it looks unnatural if the theme doesn't blend in with the rest of the window and leaves a white patch on top.
You might be running Everything as an adminisrator. See original remarks:hansolocambo wrote: Mon Mar 18, 2019 11:24 pm When I click on an everytheme file, I just get a Windows "How do you want to open this file" message, nothing more. Any idea please ? I started the cmd, even as admin, all seems to go as you explained. Except evertheme doesn't seem to be understood by the shell.
It's too bad to have such a highly configurable everything.ini without a UI for dummies (who said like me ?) to change fonts, colors, etc easily![]()
If you are indeed running Everything as an administrator:NotNull wrote: Sun Nov 25, 2018 11:28 pm If you are running Everything as administrator (Don't! It's the cause of a lot of trouble!), there are special instructions for installation and importing theme files.
If this apply to you and you *have to* run Everything as administrator, I will provide instructions.
That can be configured independently:aviasd wrote: Sat Jun 06, 2020 10:38 am Very cool
Could I request some dark versions with alternating row colors ? My eyesight is not what it used to be...

INI=%APPDATA%\Everything\Everything.iniNot at the moment. It is on the to do list or Everything 1.5.capteelingurdian wrote: Sat Aug 22, 2020 9:06 am PREVIEW PANE INVERT COLORS
Is there any way to invert the color in the Preview pane? So that the Preview pane show white text on a black background?
I'm visually impaired so...the white text on black is a bit easier for me.
Three MORE cheers for Voidtools, Everything & NotNull! Outstanding!!Preview pane coloring would mean that Everything would need to write it's own preview handler.
Good news: that is on the to do list for plain text files (including different colors and fonts).
This looks like a full ini-file and not the theme.Jack wrote: Sun Apr 04, 2021 4:43 pm One color theme for share as bellow.
Color theme -Jack-2.png
The .ini configuration file is attache:"Color theme -Jack-2 - Everything.ini"
Note:it the .ini file is for latest Everything 1.5 Alpha software
Color theme -Jack-2 - Everything 1.5a.ini.zip
It is not possible with Everything, sorry. Is it possible to put an image on the background of Everything?
