I'm not familiar with windows programming and SDK's but I see there is one.

Is there a possibility to interfacing everything with other tools such as Total Commander?

Total Commander supports plugins.

Everything with a filemanager such as Total Commander would make it instantly applicable.
Total Commander with a quick search as Everything would make it even more efficient.

You guys need to hook up, that's my suggestion.

Absolutely agree, I use Everything with TC and it does the job almost well. But there's no possibility to work with LISTS (!!) of files found

The utility is NOT opensource but there's SDK for console tool. Together with Plugin's SDK of TC it could be something.

As for me, Everyting with two-pane interface and copy\delete\move interface is an ideal file manager

Everyting with two-pane interface and copy\delete\move interface would be overkill IMO, the way it hooks with Total Commander is excellent, one thing I wish for is that it could search through TC diskdir plugin list files.

That way I could quickly find out where Everything is on my dvd's :p
