Judging by the screenshot, neither does Windows Explorer.
"Everything" and Windows Explorer use the same video preview handler.

This might be an issue with the video preview handler.

Yes, there should be filenames underneath the thumbnails in "Everything".

The screen shot does not look like it is from "Everything".

Same issue here for boxed-correct.avi, while other avi previews work, it is most likely an issue with the Windows Preview handler.

Please try a third party preview handler, such as media preview.
