Use a SSD or RAM disk.

Everything should only do an initial scan once.
Please make sure Everything is able to save its data and settings:
  • In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
  • Click the General tab.
  • Check Store settings and data in %APPDATA%\Everything.
  • Click OK.
