I use a bunch of duplicate file finders, but using Everything makes it easy to weed out stuff that I might not necessarily come across otherwise.
On the video end, sizedupe:, filter Video, & sort by size.
And then to top it off you have Preview too.
And with Preview you don't even have to play the clip, just the first frame is usually enough to tell you whether you need to go further.
If first frames are the same, I send the two files to my hash program, confirm identical & away one goes.
