Would it be possible to show in the filter dropdown which shortcut keys are assigned to the filters?
There's probably enough room to show this aligned against the right edge of the dropdown box. There's certainly plenty of room for a wider filter box if necessary.
It's just my idea. Hope you consider it. Thank you.
Suggestion: show shortcut keys assigned to the filters in the dropdown box

On my system (Everything 1.4.1.935 x64 @ Win10) those keyboard shortcuts are already shown (highlighted in yellow)
Same goes for bookmarks btw.
Or do you mean another place where the keyboard shortcuts should be shown?

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

I'll consider showing the filter keyboard shortcuts in the filter bar drop down list.
Thanks for the suggestion.

I meant something slightly different to what you discussed.NotNull wrote: Fri Jun 21, 2019 9:20 pmOr do you mean another place where the keyboard shortcuts should be shown?
I meant showing the shortcut keys against the entries seen in the the filter dropdown. I think Void has understood what I meant. Here is a link to a screen shot of where I mean: https://ibb.co/FbCnD8v

There is a second thing I would like to suggest, partly connected to the first one.NotNull wrote: Fri Jun 21, 2019 9:20 pmOr do you mean another place where the keyboard shortcuts should be shown?
To help avoid conflicts with other shortcut keys, I would like to see a feature where I could enter a shortcut key in Tools > Options > Keyboard and then get informed where the shortcut key is already assigned.
I mean something similar to entry box called "Show Commands Containing" but, in this request of mine, it would find shortcut key combinations already in use.

Re: Suggestion: show shortcut keys assigned to the filters in the dropdown box
Thanks for the screenshot, yes I understood.
For now, you could edit your filter names to Include your shortcut keys, eg:
Change the name: Documents (txt)
to:
Documents (txt) (Ctrl + Alt + T)
where Ctrl + Alt + T is the keyboard shortcut for this filter.
Unfortunately, the tab character doesn't right align text, so alignment of keyboard shortcuts may look weird, you could try placing the shortcut key first, eg:
(Ctrl + Alt + T) Documents (txt)
Showing conflicting filter/keyboard shortcuts is on my TODO list, thanks for the suggestions.
