What version of "Everything" are you using?

This is a known issue and should be fixed for the next release of "Everything".

To show the full path and file name of the selected item in the status bar:

In "Everything" from the Tools menu, click Options.
Click the View tab.
Check Show selected item in status bar.

These files are hard links (not physical files).

Only the first instance of the file is shown in "Everything".

Managing folder renaming has been completely re-written for the next release of "Everything".

This has greatly improved the performance when renaming folders with millions of sub folders and files.
