While Everything has an option to add a context menu entry for folders, it doesn't have an icon that makes it easy to quickly identify, which can be a hassle if your context menu has a lot of other entries in it, and its menu text is a plain Search Everything... I want the Preview function to stay! If necessary, instead of disabling it in Everything, give the user the choice of enabling or disabling it. It is SO useful. I was able to find some corrupted .PDF documents using Everything's Preview Pane that would have normally required me to open each document...

The "Details" option is under the View menu bar. I run Everything in a portable setting, I don't use the installer version, I just created a C:\Everything folder and run it from there.

I noticed that too. It looks like it might be placeholder code - something is going to go there, but for now, just the minimal Window controls for a basic window are the only things available.

Tooltips do work in the Options settings. I don't know if this is helpful, but when I was using version 1.4.0.688, tooltips would flash on and off, rather than staying just on.

All of the corrupted entries are on my USB 3.0 Western Digital 3 TB external hard drive, so that's interesting. I ran Scandisk on that drive, it came up clean. Hard Disk Sentinel's diagnostics also shows no problems. HD Tune Pro v5.50 also comes up clean. I don't understand why the problem goes away...

If you add C:\Windows to Tools > Options > Indexes > Folders, Everything will find the actual file. NOTE: This will cause some search results to display duplicate file names and/or duplicate folder names (that is, a search result will be listed twice)
