One more suggestion for your context menu: Add a context menu item like "Open Special". This should allow to select once any tool which in the future will be started with the entry as parameter. This way I could directly jump to any entry (Folder or File) in Total Commander without additional steps....

The context menu of find items in JumpToFolder is the full context menu of an Everything results entry. So I can use all functions provided by other tools in the context menu. There is no full scan of data, contents is not scanned or indexed at all.
To access the data normal OS access rights take place.
The Everything.db is only stored on exit of Everything and is the only place where data is hold.

I guess you can itself Whitelist Everything in your Trend Micro client.
Also Virus Total doesnt' complain about actual Everything.exe in none of its 72 scanners including Trend Micro.

I changed to maildir format long time ago with no problems. That allows Windows search to index the content. The names stored on disk have no useful names and only the Everything content search can find mail content. But Windows search is of course much faster and there is no reason to use Everythin...
