The space after the d: let Everything first search all entries on drive D: and then it restricts the results to folders:
The construct d:folder: tries to search for a keyword d: followed by an parameter.

Your idea will never work and of course there is a sequence of keyword and parameter and not vice versa

So there would be useless savings to disk which today may be an SDD.

Drive stream is not an NTFS volume and also folder indexing will be hard to implement.
For me indexing such data is not part of a free tool like Everything.
I think there are many functions which are already in Davids list to implement
which are of more value to most users.

But why don't you use Everything itself and search for everything.db
It is only created / updated on stop of Everything.

Use NTFS indexing for the local drives
and Folder indexing for the mapped network drives.

Only the RAM copy is used and on exit stored to disk.
So the fragmentation has no real impact on performance.

There is no problem to read the contents of the WER folders.
I guess you have not installed the Everything service.
Do this and also let Everything start with your normal windows logon.
