Re: [FIXED] "everything" sometimes calculates occupied space completely wrong
i've seen this before and i tried it, unfortunately it did not solve the issue for me. but i gave it a try again with .915, no luck again. but yes, it's the bigger files that have "no size" in everything. only rebuilding the database helps, but this is not exactly a solution. i will try .907 now /ed...

Re: [FIXED] "everything" sometimes calculates occupied space completely wrong
sorry, i'm an idiot. it is not the same issue.
it's more the other way now, everything is MISSING big files.
.906 works fine, after .908+ has this issue, i might also try .907
and yes, it happens often.
i have some excludes, but only whole drives.
i will do some more testing.

Re: Everything 1.4.1.877 not updating to next version
my guess is: 877 is the latest stable version, everything released after is labeled as beta.
if you switch to the beta channel, there might be automatic updates also for betas, i always download them manually though... so this is another guess.

sorry for spamming, but i'm still not 100% sure, although it should be ok now.

Re: "everything" sometimes calculates occupied space completely wrong
cool, thanks. it wasn't as easy to reproduce as expected. it happened again here and there, but never when it was in /debug mode. and as soon as i noticed it was too late, the debug window output buffer was overwritten with newer stuff. :x i even packed and unpacked hundreds of small jpg files in a ...

Re: "everything" sometimes calculates occupied space completely wrong
ok, checked it. it happens on my un-encrypted system drive too. i could easily reproduce this time: but it seems to happen if there's a lot of activity in a directory, lets say unpacking lots of files using a simple batch script. what i did. had lots of ZIP files (a directory with 2 subdirectories),...

Re: "everything" sometimes calculates occupied space completely wrong
1) they are plain directories with absolutely nothing in them. 2) hard to tell, my system disk is small, the others all encrypted. i will keep an eye on it. 3) only on very few. so its' (unfortunately) kinda hard to reproduce. but it seems to happen if there's a lot of activity in a directory, lets ...
