I think the simple

Code: Select all

*.jpg

should work, provided that you have in Everything all 6 disks.

But what he hasn't told you is that his data set is so large, that while that is the simple solution, painting the screen or whatever the actual issue he's running into is a problem (for him).

Everything indexes only the path and file name, and the search immediately - and you want to look for the size so it will take a bit, how much? depending on how many files - indexing the file size will be in the next version - and now try something else, eg: HDDB.

Pretty sure it was mentioned that in future version, size will be or will be an option to be included in the database.

In that case, try Master Seeker or another program that parses the MFT directly, some of that is the look.

Master Seeker stores all data in RAM - report it to the author, if you want to try even these two programs Locate32 and SearchMyFiles.

MagiC - You can include a link to version 1.6.0.1 MasterSeeker - on the home page is 1.5.1.

Thanks.
