No Auto Start with Win 10

Post by Fossy » Sun Apr 21, 2019 12:02 pm

I've followed all the instructions but still cannot get Anything to automatically start with Win 10. A previous version I had did. Where am I going wrong?

What version do you have now?
What version did you have prior?

Any recent Win10 updates?
What version of Win10 are you running?

How are you attempting to set up Everything to run (as Admin or with the Service)?

Windows 10 does not allow programs to start on system startup as administrator.

Please make sure Everything is running as a standard user:
  • In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
  • Click the General tab on the left.
  • Check Everything service.
  • Uncheck Run as administrator.
  • Click OK.
  • Exit Everything (right click the Everything tray icon and click Exit).
  • Restart Everything
Please make sure Everything is running as a standard user:
  • Right click your Everything.exe or a shortcut to Everything
  • Click Properties.
  • Click the Compatibility tab.
  • Uncheck Run this program as an administrator.
  • Click OK.
