Post by yakirs » Thu Aug 02, 2018 4:58 pm

Hi

I want to have a way of editing the selected result file from the results window using a specific editor (specifically I want vscode, but I guess it doesn't matter, just execute a specific commandline)

thanks

You can use a Custom Verb for that in Everything.

According to the link that @therube posted, the verb to open a document in vscode is VSCode (can't check as I no longer have VScode installed)
Just follow the instructions on the Custom Verb page and all should be well.

Note: this shortcut key is only effective in Everything. Not in - for example - File Explorer.
