Unable to specify sort for results

I want to see my results sorted by PATH.

I have made this setting: Options > Home > Sort > Path Ascending

However the results are ordered by Name. What could I be doing wrong?

Regex with date functions

Is there a way to search using regex and date functions (such as "dc:thisyear")? For example, I would like to search for all files starting with the characters XYZ which were created this year. (1) When I enable regex, Everything sees any date function part in the search bar as part of the regex exp...

Re: Keep offline volumes in the index

When Everything is in read only mode, offline files are always displayed. If the offline files are not displayed, then they have been lost. You will need to bring these offline volumes online and re-index. Is there any way to *not* display the offline files when the external drive is not attached b...

Meaning of "thisweek" and "lastweek" in search syntax

I am a bit confused about how to use these terms when searching: <last|past|prev|current|this|coming|next><year|month|week> " WEEK " --- Is the term " week " used in the sense of always having a defined starting day? Such as Sunday or Monday. " LAST " --- Does " lastweek " mean the last 7 days count...

Is there a way to search only selected partitions without going into Options and disabling the partitions I wish to ignore? For example, let's assume I have partitions C: D: E: F: G: and all are indexed by Everything. For one search I might want Everything to show only what is on C: and D: (and igno...

Is there an activity log in Everything? (2) Do I need a plugin to have a filter dropdown box the the right of the search bar?

Re: Does indexing resume from where it stopped?

Thank you for the info.

That feature in 1.4 for single index scanning sounds great! Is the 1.4 beta pretty stable now?

I prefer a glitch-free experience and usually stay away from most betas but sometimes a beta gets stable enough to be a production version.

Hello

I'm using the last beta of Everything (1.2.1.413) but can't find the file everything.db. I scanned my drives but everything.db is not there even when Everything is running.

Can anyone advise please.
