However, I would recommend alternative software for searching file content as this is not something that "Everything" is designed to do.

Re: Maintain Sort Settings
Because "Everything" sorts files and folders by name internally, sorting by any other type can have a severe impact on "Everything"'s performance. I am looking at solutions to improve this. 1. Maintain the sort settings between uses rather than revert to file name sorting. Keeping the sort order for...

Re: search concatenated file name and path
If you would like to include the path and file name in your search use a back-slash (\).
Using a back-slash (\) will force match path on.
For example you have the thousands of abc.txt files on your computer, but you want to find the one in the 123 folder, search for:

Unfortunately "Everything" is currently limited to searching file names only.
This would only be possible by changing the filename.
You might be interested in NTFS reparse points or NTFS junctions.

Re: Does Everything support NTFS volumes loaded to directories
Unfortunately, no, "Everything" does not index NTFS volumes mounted into NTFS folders.
You will need to assign this volume a drive letter for "Everything" to see it.
Indexing volumes mounted in NTFS folders is planned for the next release of "Everything".
