However, I would recommend alternative software for searching file content as this is not something that "Everything" is designed to do.

Everything requires administrative privileges for low level access to volumes. Running the part of "Everything" that requires administrative privileges as a service is on my "Things to do" list. You can try to run the current version of "Everything" as a service. However, this is not supported yet.....

"Everything" does not monitor changes to file information, such as last modified date. You will to press F5 to manually refresh the file information cache.
