When 1.2.1.421b is running you might like to enable 'Start "Everything" on system startup' from the options window (this will stop 1.2.1.371 running on startup).

The environment string %COMMANDER_PATH% is not set.

What is displayed in the debug console when opening a path?

When the shortcut key Ctrl + + is pressed and the result list has focus it will auto size the column headers (instead of zooming).

You can also use Ctrl + mouse wheel to adjust the zoom.

"Everything" will only show the total file size for the files in the folder of the focused item.

A fix for this is on my "Things to do" list.

What is your database location set to (See Tools->Options->Volumes->Database location)?
If it is empty, are there any errors reported in the Errorlog.txt file in your "Everything" installation folder?

Filters will be assigned default macros eventually.
For example audio: for the audio filter.
You can then search for audio:foo or !audio:foo for negative filtering.

Confirmed, there does seem to be an issue with the alpha... I will look into it..

I have noticed that sometimes "Everything" does not receive all device notifications...

I have added 'review device notifications' to my "Things to do" list.

Relative paths are always relative to the Everything.exe (not the current directory).

"Everything" will only add a search to the search history if you perform an action on a result.

You could always edit the SearchHistory.xml file directly in your Everything installation folder.

I will consider having the option to manually add a search from within Everything.
