Yes. In keyboard shortcuts the features are accordingly. In that case (when columns are not visible) it needs a bit of assuredness of the column by which it is sorted. The sorting have come back to their original speed and successive sorts are immediate! Only the type column takes up a marginal increment of time.

This is a minor one. If I indexed a column by Date Recently Changed and then remove the column from the selector , files still continue with that indexing. Would it (indexing )be possible to be shifted to the default name index of course with a refresh . The same holds for any other column too.

I too use AVAST , but have not encountered such freezes. Meanwhile try including the working Everything Folder to the Avast menu>>Settings>>Global exclusion and see if it makes any difference.

There is a downside. The files are no longer highlighted. Also do you mean Explorer discriminated between languages?

EDIT Also tried with duplicate cleaner with similar folder tracking features. One language works fine ,but not the other. Strange explorer issue....

Sorry! The function works perfectly.In fact I was running only debugs , hence thought closing the debug window closes Everything. Might be the regular instance was already running at the time and it allows the debug instance with the window to start. It does not close the debug version.

Now though 653b enables creating a text file , on closing debug after making a few searches, very little data seems to have been added to the output file.

Conditional sort is another feature which might be handy in searches. Say a search for date range is made and then to sort amongst the biggest to lowest sizes for each date is possible , some unwanted junks can be identified.
