Please make sure you specify the full path and filename in $exec().

For example:

I'll look into improving 'virtual file' detection.

(#height: and #width: are currently undocumented in the UI)

Everything 1.5.0.1254a fixes an issue with getting stuck indexing when you have an exclude filter.

Please let me know if the issue persists.

You might be excluding folders only?

To exclude lnk files from your index:

In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
Click the Exclude tab on the left.
Select your *.lnk filter and click Remove.
Change Exclude files to: *.lnk
Click OK.
