Why I cannot use wildcards in my content search, for example:

This would be supposed to find in *.pas files:

Why not? It's just indexing one more value. (I.e. 2 values: Width and height). And it would be OPTIONAL. So only users who need it would switch it on. It would not affect any other users. I need this urgently for system-wide searching for glyphs in 16x16 pixel,24x24 pixel, 32x32 pixel, 48x48 pixel, ...

I have set both search_edit_font_size and status_bar_font_size to 12.

Now I can read both texts comfortably at my high-resolution monitor. (I am a little bit sight-impaired).

I cannot stop praising this fantastic program!

this produces a list which contains not only PDF files but also ALL FOLDERS and SUBFOLDERS in "D:\Downloads\", even when they have not "PDF" in their pathname. But I need only PDF FILES.

Have you also tried to make the content search multi-threaded? This should considerably improve the speed of the content search.

For example, you have to search 10,000 files for some content.Create 4 threads and let each thread search the content of 2,500 files. What do you think?
